Mathematics

In England, WJEC's qualifications are offered under the Eduqas brand, and Eduqas A-Level Mathematics teaches the same government-prescribed content as every other board — Pure Mathematics with Statistics and Mechanics — assessed across three papers taken at the end of the two-year course.

Eduqas is chosen by a smaller number of English schools than AQA, Edexcel or OCR, which has one practical consequence worth planning around: there is a thinner bank of past papers and commercial revision material. Students on this specification benefit from working through other boards' papers for topic practice while using Eduqas papers specifically to rehearse the question style and paper structure they will actually meet.
