Seventh grade computer science extends programming into data structures and modular code. Students work with lists and arrays, write functions that take parameters and return values, handle strings and files, and validate user input.

Systems content covers how a processor executes instructions, memory and storage types, and network protocols. Many students also meet web development here — HTML, CSS and a first look at JavaScript.
