MYP 5 Design is the final MYP year and its projects are substantial pieces of independent work, fully documented through the design cycle and assessed against the four criteria.

Students build working applications using structured programming, data structures, file handling and databases, and cover computer architecture, networks, security, and the ethical and environmental impact of technology.

The independent project discipline developed here — researching a client need, specifying, building, testing and evaluating honestly — is exactly what the Diploma Computer Science internal assessment requires.
