ViewingGrade 12 Computer Science (ICS4U in Ontario) is the senior university-preparation course and a direct prerequisite for many Canadian computing and engineering programs.
Students study advanced object-oriented design including inheritance and polymorphism, recursion, sorting and searching with efficiency analysis, and data structures such as stacks, queues, linked lists and trees. The course is anchored by a large independent project taken from requirements through to a tested, documented deliverable, alongside project management and professional practice.
Curriculum Breakdown
