Grade 10 · Canadian Curriculum (General)
Grade 10 computer studies builds real programming competence. Students work with arrays and lists, subprograms with parameters, file input and output, and structured program design, and follow a full plan, code, test and evaluate cycle.
Courses at this level typically add an introduction to object-oriented ideas, web development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and a look at how software projects are actually managed. It is the year that determines whether a student is ready for the university-preparation course in Grade 11.
