Class 5 computer studies consolidates practical software skills and deepens coding. Children use spreadsheets with formulas to calculate and chart data, build multi-slide presentations, and format longer documents properly.

Coding extends to variables, nested loops and conditions in a block-based environment such as Scratch, and many CBSE schools introduce the first lines of Python here. Children also learn how networks and the internet work, and about cyber safety.
