Grade 11 · US Curriculum Standards
Eleventh grade computer science moves into data structures and applied development. Students work with stacks, queues, linked lists, trees and hash tables, analyze algorithm efficiency using Big-O notation, and build multi-file applications.
Many courses at this level introduce databases and SQL, version control with Git, and full-stack web development. Students taking AP Computer Science A in this year cover the object-oriented Java syllabus and its Create-style free-response demands.
