Computer Science
Grade 2 · US Curriculum Standards
Second grade computer science introduces repetition. Students discover that a loop replaces copying the same block many times, predict what a program will do before running it, and fix programs that don't behave as expected.
They create digital work with more independence (documents, slides, drawings and simple animations) and begin organizing files sensibly. Digital citizenship extends into understanding that not everything online is true and knowing how to report a concern.
