Year 11 · Northern Ireland Curriculum
Year 11 is the first year of CCEA GCSE Digital Technology in Northern Ireland, the qualification that covers the computer science content offered as GCSE Computer Science elsewhere in the UK.
Programming moves into arrays, nested loops, subprograms, string handling and file operations, and students learn to trace algorithms by hand. Theory covers data representation, computer architecture, memory and storage, and networks.
