P4 Using ICT introduces programs that make decisions. Pupils combine sequence, repetition and simple selection in block-based environments such as Scratch, and learn to break a task into smaller steps before building it.

Managing information becomes more purposeful: entering data into a spreadsheet or simple database, sorting it, and producing a chart to answer a question.

Pupils create more polished digital content combining text, images and sound, and learn how a search engine finds results and why some sources are more trustworthy than others.
