Non-verbal Reasoning

Non-verbal Reasoning tests visual and spatial logic entirely through shapes, patterns and diagrams — no reading or numeracy required, which makes it feel unfamiliar to most students at first. Typical question types include identifying the next shape in a sequence, spotting the odd-one-out in a set of figures, working out how a shape rotates or reflects, and completing a matrix of shapes where one piece is missing.

Because there's no academic content to revise in the traditional sense, improvement here comes almost entirely from exposure to the different question formats and building the visual pattern-recognition speed needed to solve them under time pressure — this is a skill that responds well to focused, repeated practice.
