Hifz-ul-Quran

Structured memorisation with sabaq, sabqi and manzil tracked separately.

Hifz is the memorisation of the Quran, and it is the most demanding programme RSIS offers in any subject. It runs on three parallel tracks that a student works on every single day: sabaq, the new portion being memorised; sabqi, the recent portion still being consolidated; and manzil, the older material that must be revised on a cycle so it is not lost.

Families new to Hifz usually underestimate the revision load rather than the memorisation. Memorising a new page is the visible work, but it is manzil that determines whether a child still has the earlier juz a year later, and it is where most Hifz journeys quietly fail. RSIS tutors set a realistic daily portion based on the child's age, school workload and reading fluency, and track all three tracks separately so a parent can see exactly where their child stands.
