Science

Grade 7 opens intermediate science in Canada. Students study ecosystems and the interactions within them, the particle theory of matter and pure substances and mixtures, form and function in structures, and heat in the environment.

Laboratory work becomes formal — safe use of equipment, controlled variables, accurate measurement and structured write-ups. Students are expected to explain results, not simply record them.
