Science

Grade 10 Science (SNC2D in Ontario) is the last integrated science course before students choose specialist subjects, and its grade often determines which senior sciences they can take.

Biology covers tissues, organs and body systems; chemistry covers chemical reactions, acids and bases, and balancing equations quantitatively; physics covers light and geometric optics with ray diagrams and lens calculations; and Earth science covers climate change, the greenhouse effect and human influence on climate.
