Grade 7 works with all rational numbers — integers, fractions and decimals — fluently and in combination. Algebra grows into solving two-step linear equations, and proportional reasoning is applied to real percent and rate problems.

Geometry covers circles (circumference and area) and the relationships between 2D shapes and their 3D counterparts, and Data Management introduces probability of independent events.
