Science

Grade 6 completes elementary science in most Canadian provinces. Students study biodiversity and classification, flight, electricity and electrical devices, and space.

They classify living things and consider why biodiversity matters, investigate the properties of air and the forces of flight, build and analyze electrical circuits and consider energy conservation, and study the solar system and the relationship between Earth, the sun and the moon.
