Grade 3 science covers growth and changes in plants, strong and stable structures, forces causing movement, and soils in the environment.

Students investigate what plants need and how they are used, test which shapes and materials make structures strong, explore contact and non-contact forces including magnetism and gravity, and study the composition of soil and its role in supporting life.
