Year 12 completes CCEA GCSE Chemistry in Northern Ireland. Remaining content covers rates of reaction, energy changes, organic chemistry, metals and reactivity, chemical analysis, and the Earth's atmosphere and resources.

The year is dominated by consolidating calculations and by exam practice. Moles, concentration, percentage yield and titration recur throughout the papers, and prescribed-practical questions expect method and error analysis rather than results alone.
