Year 12 completes CCEA GCSE Biology in Northern Ireland and takes students into their final examinations. Remaining content covers the nervous and hormonal systems, homeostasis and the kidney, disease and immunity, genetics, evolution and ecology.

Grades at this stage are decided by extended-response questions and by interpreting unfamiliar data. Both are highly coachable, and both are worth more attention than covering further content.
