Year 11 begins CCEA GCSE Physics in Northern Ireland, typically covering forces and motion, energy, electricity and domestic electricity.

Formulae and units become central, and the shift from Key Stage 3 is mathematical: rearranging equations, working in standard form and drawing accurate graphs all carry marks. Setting work out cleanly matters as much as understanding the physics.
